Wendexo has been supplying grinding wheels for over 50 years and has during this time built up a knowledge to be able to offer grinding wheels for most needs. Almost all industries need some type of grinding wheel. Therefore the range of all sizes and types is enormous.

In order to be able to identify all different types of grinding wheels, a marking has been created that looks basically like the following, however, it varies between different manufacturers.

Abrasive
- The most common are aluminum oxide and silicon carbide.
- The designation of the abrasive is usually unique for each manufacturer.

Grit size
- Coarse: 10-12-14-16-20-24
- Medium: 30-36-46-50-60
- Fine: 70-80-90-100-120-150

Hardness
- Soft: D-E-F-G-H
- Medium: I-J-K-L-M-N-O-P
- Hard: Q-R-S-T-U-V-Z
Recommendation for choosing hardness
a, The harder the material to be processed, the softer the grinding wheel should be.
b, The smaller the contact surface is, the harder the grinding wheel should be.

- Close: 1-2-3-4
- Medium: 5-6-7-8
- Open: 9-10-11-12
